Yirgacheffe Hama Eko Ethopia, Koppi. Brewed in a french press. Nose; spicy -  dark sugar, white pepper, mentha and bouquet of wild flowers. Palate; sublim taste of herbs – mentha, white- and black pepper, lemon peel and bergamott. Sweetness plays  the second violin. The aftertaste is intense of lemon peel, fresh pepper and bergamott. Very long length. Fine to drink after an oriental meal and why not food from Marrakech. The baristas/roasters behind Koppi are Anne Lunell and Charles Nystrand both BC-winner in Sweden. Anne participated and won with team Sweden in NBC (Nordic Barista Cup) Copenhagen a couple of days ago.

So if you thought Nekisse little off season, had no more going for it than a short period in season, try again. One of the worlds best baristas, Daniel Remheden in Lund, co- owner in “Love Coffee” and a Swedish barista champ, Peter Frennhoff have been roasting since 2001. Love Coffee Roastery in Lund Sweden is only into high-end speciality coffee. It looks like  an art performance when Daniel Remheden is making an espresso and the flavours in the cup was one of the best I ever enjoyed. Three times in my life I have exprerienced coffees that reminds me of very memorable wines. Two of them are from Love Coffee and brewed by Remheden,  Ethiopia Sidamo Kebedo Dara and Love Coffees espresso blend. Nekisse from Love Coffee Brewed in a french press. Nose: Dark brown sweet full bodied dark syrup and cane sugar. Clear fresh newly picked blueberries. The…

The Coffee Collective Espresso, Denmark The aromas smells sweet and heavy of bigarreaus (white-heart cherries) and brown sugar. The texture is very soft. Brown sweet flavours of  cane sugar- and 70% chocolate. A clear acidity of fresh lemon and the bitterness of lemon peel. Long sweet aftertaste with tickling lemon. It´s like a sweet nutty cake with lemon curd on top. A splendid after lunch- salad- espresso.
