In Anything else, Coffee

Fratello=brother in newly renovated Kluuvi has Finlands largest siphon bar, an eye-cather. It´s like a show when the baristas at Fratello brew your coffee in a siphon brewer. In your cup lands the most smooth and clear brew coffee you can imagine.

After that the coffee is brewed barista Lenar Lehtla pour the coffee from almost one meter into the cup like decanting a wine or even more how a capataz, cellarman use a venencia to fill copitas, sherry glasses with sherry.

Coffee from Gatina Kenya, Kaffa Roastery. Very smooth, fresh and typical berry flavours. Blackcurrant, blackcurrant leafs, cassis and a distinct soft bitterness, antioxidants. Long length cassis flavoured aftertaste.

Lenar also served me a coffee from Kebado Dara Ethiopia roasted by a well known barista Roman Kolpaktsi. The roast was lighter that makes coffee tastes more acidic and the texture more dry, still very sophisticated flavours of toffee, honey and dark flowers. Aftertaste: black tea, Darjeeling.
